Superintendent Position

A highly respected commercial contractor in the Chicago market is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in healthcare construction. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven field leader who has successfully delivered $10M+ healthcare projects and is passionate about high-quality, safe, and efficient project execution.

Position Overview

The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This role requires deep experience in active healthcare environments, infection control procedures, and complex interior and ground-up healthcare scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
• Maintain schedules, manage daily logs, and drive jobsite productivity.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, infection control plans (ICRA), and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure high-quality workmanship throughout all phases.
• Conduct field meetings, communicate updates, and resolve conflicts promptly.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and coordinate with project management.
• Support project delivery from mobilization through closeout.
