Job Summary :

Location : Methodist Hospital

Address : 8303 Dodge St, Omaha, NE

Work Schedule : 5 : 00am to 5 : 30pm, 2 shifts per week

Cardiology technician assists Cardiologists scheduling appointments, reviewing patient files, monitoring testing and assists in diagnosis of cardio and / or vascular diseases.

Responsibilities : Essential Functions

Provides appropriate care specific to the age of the customer / patient, to ensure understanding and comfort level of treatment, as outlined in the Age Specific Criteria.

• Demonstrates ability to identify opportunities for and give individualized customer service / patient care according to customer / patient needs.

Schedule patients for stress tests and assists physician's pr mid-level practitioners with performance of the stress tests (including nuclear stress tests).

Prepares patient for a stress test.

Work professionally with all members of the cardiac team.

Collaborates in the maintenance of proper inventory.

Demonstrates ability to access environment of care policies on computer.

Competent in putting on and taking off Holter Monitors and Event Monitors.
