Under the direction of Radiologist, Director and Manager of Radiology, the Lead Mammography Radiology Technologist will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Lead Mammography Radiology Technologist will have to calculate figures and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals

The ideal Lead Mammography Radiology Technologist should have certification of completion of radiologic technical training from an AMA approved institution. At least five years of staff technologist experience. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification. Current State of California Radiologic Technology certification. Current certification in mammography. Current CPR certificate. Current Fluoroscopy certification preferred.
