Registered Nurse- Utilization Review

Adelphi is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to provide services at a facility in Glendale, Colorado. The RNs will assist in the coordination and review of healthcare services for veterans, including clinical consultations and community-based care referrals, as well as ensuring the quality and effectiveness of medical services provided. Job Quick Facts:• Ref#: IC-RN-0510• Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)• Location: Glendale, CO• Facility Type: Healthcare Coordination Office• Job Type: Potential for a long term contract• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4:30pm• Rate: $46/hrRequirements:• Graduation from a professional nursing program accredited by a recognized nursing body (, ACEN or CCNE).• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State or territory• Minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years.• Current BLS certification.Responsibilities:• Clinically review consults/requests for completeness and appropriateness/utilization review.• Dispositioning care in the community per utilization review and guidelines.• Clinical review of incoming medical records documenting communication with ordering providers and PCP.• Communicate with veterans, community providers, internal staff, and administrative teams to facilitate and process care authorizations.• Explain care options to veterans and assist in making informed decisions regarding community-based care.• Document communication and care coordination efforts in the electronic health record (EHR).• Any other duties assigned.
