Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Outpatient & Inpatient Surgical Oncology

Work Schedule :

100% FTE, 4-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6 : 00 am and 4 : 00 pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs in the department.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to :

• Provide comprehensive care to surgical oncology patients with varying acuity and diagnoses, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients.
• Perform procedures such as : suture and drain removal, seroma aspiration, and wound care.
• Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending physician and residents in order to adjust plans of care.

Education : Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner : Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant : Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner : Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult / Gerontology Primary Care; Emergency; Family; Gerontology.

If Physician Assistant : Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.
