Job Title : Quality Assurance Manager

Location :  Miami, FL (Local candidates only, or ability to relocate on own)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, First Shift

Salary Range : $120,000 – $150,000 per year

Summary

A fully onsite Quality Assurance Manager role is available for an experienced professional to lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain robust quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support product quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain company quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Lead, train, and develop QA staff while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Participate in management meetings to align quality initiatives with business goals.

Host and support FDA inspections and GMP audits .

Review and approve batch records, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and validation protocols .

Supervise the development and maintenance of product and raw material specifications .

Review and analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective action.

Coordinate and implement internal quality audits and track follow-up actions.

Manage customer complaints , ensuring timely investigation and resolution.

Support international documentation and registration for products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality standards throughout production and packaging.

Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to maintain product quality and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry , specifically with solid oral dosage forms .

In-depth knowledge of cGMPs , FDA regulations , and FDA Guidance .

Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in documentation management and computer systems used in regulated environments.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
