Data Integration Specialist

Role : Data Integration Specialist (Boomi integrations)

Location : Addison, TX (hybrid)

6+ month contract

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Develop Integration Solutions : Create and implement integration workflows, understanding business requirements, data sources, and target systems.
• Build Data Integration Processes : Develop and configure processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data between various systems, including data warehouses, Azure, Medius, Workday and other applications.
• Maintain Data Warehouse : Create and maintain integration processes from ERP systems and other source systems into a data warehouse to maximize uptime and fresh data to be fed into Power BI reports for business users.
• Implement EDI File Transmission : Configure integration systems to handle the transmission and transformation of EDI messages between trading partners, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Integrate with Workday and Medius : Establish seamless integration between Azure and Workday, as well as Medius, to enable smooth accounts payable automation and streamline invoice processing.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders : Work closely with business analysts, data architects, system administrators, and other team members to gather requirements and ensure effective integration solutions.
• Ensure Data Quality : Implement data validation mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to business rules.
• Optimize Performance : Analyze and optimize integration processes, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Document and Report : Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation of integration processes, mappings, configurations, and workflows. Generate reports and provide insights into integration activities.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Azure, Dell Boomi, data integration, and the systems used (Workday, Medius, etc.).
