Description : Position Summary :
Assembler 1 is responsible for the assembly and test of Client cardiology products per the written procedure and quality systems requirements
Position Responsibilities :
- Perform bench assembly, testing and packing on sub or finished unit assemblies according to assembly procedures (i.e. BOM, DHR, Work Instructions, etc.).
- Ensure use of most up to date procedures by using ERP system (SAP).
- Perform basic troubleshooting on assemblies which does not require a technician.
- Complete all appropriate forms and DHRs legibly and correctly for the assemblies they are working on following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Cross train into multiple positions / products as directed by production supervisor
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor
- Adhere to the Quality System.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in their work.
- Apply continuous improvement thinking by suggesting improvements for their work areas and job functions to reduce costs and lead time.
- Follow standard work (manufacturing procedures) as written. Essential competencies :
