Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,116 per week in Chicago, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Emergency Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in the Emergency Department License : Must hold a valid nursing license in the state required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have : - Mandatory float facility; all resources are required to float at the facility's discretion - Weekend requirement : Every other weekend; 2 weekends per month - No time off during holidays or the day before or after a holiday - Maximum 5 days of time off with no more than 2 consecutive days Description : Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. Shifts are 3 days a week, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM. No block scheduling is allowed. Clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs. All resources are required to float at the facility's discretion. Additional qualifications include certification requirements : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS. Candidates must have skills in arterial line management, central line care / management, and continuous IV sedation. Experience in the interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is necessary. Candidates must be skilled in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, triage, and care for ventilated patients. Candidates need to be responsive and provide necessary documentation within specified timelines. This position is suited for individuals who can adhere to RTO policies efficiently. No exemptions for vaccine requirements will be granted. Candidates must live within a designated distance from the facility to be considered for local rates. Block scheduling will not be approved, and all time-off requests must comply with the established policies. Floating may occur based on facility needs, and late notifications may be issued. This position involves high levels of collaboration and teamwork across various units.
