Customer Quality Auditor: 49850

STS Technical Services is hiring a Customer Quality Auditor in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The Customer Quality Auditor ensures that every Wacker Neuson machine leaving the facility meets strict quality standards and represents a “zero defects” mindset from the customer’s point of view. This role works across departments to review finished equipment, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit completed machines using standardized Excel scorecards, selecting random samples of equipment ready for shipment.
• Review audit findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform and document Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) to ensure customer-ordered equipment meets shipping and quality requirements.
• Partner with Logistics, Production, and Repair/Restore teams to coordinate efficient rework and meet shipping deadlines.
• Conduct scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) on equipment in stock to maintain readiness for sales orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in construction equipment quality, production, or field operations.
• Strong attention to detail, independence, and problem-solving ability.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with diverse teams.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and SAP.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to all weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow).
• Willingness to work in loud environments (hearing protection required).
• May operate Wacker Neuson equipment (training provided).
