What you do : As a Registered Dental Assistant, you are responsible for providing assistance to the dentist or hygienist, contributing to their efficiency and productivity. This role involves preparing and organizing treatment rooms for scheduled procedures, as well as cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing instruments. Additionally, the assistant is tasked with setting up trays, taking radiographs and accurately recording treatment information in the patient charts. What you have : A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to shine. Valid DA certification Certified in CPR Knowledge of dental clinic procedures encompassing receiving, routing and scheduling patients and requesting related services. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. Knowledge and skill in detecting signs of syncope, choke, or other side reactions to dental treatment in patients. Exceptional computer skills utilizing software used to store and retrieve patient and office information.
