We are looking for a Part Time, Prep Cook for PUB 365.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete opening and closing checklist
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items
• Follow recipes and procedures to prepare assigned sauces and food item
• Understand and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
• Assist other cooks during high volume when needed
• Store, receive, stock and rotate food throughout the work day per company standards as needed
• Ensure food are stored and kept at proper holding temperatures
• Ensure the work area stays clean throughout the work day
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Other duties assigned like covering breaks for team members.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively. Be able to reach, bend and pull frequently and lift up to 40 pounds. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.  Work in a heated environment so as to different temperatures throughout the work shift. The position will require a valid Nevada Health card.
