Overview

The mission of Helio Heath, Inc. is to promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other health issues. Helio Health is seeking a Work Readiness / Vocational Counselo r for our Elements Program in Liverpool, New York to assist clients in achieving a recovery lifestyle and meet the vocational rehabilitation needs of clients.

Hours : M-F 8am-4 : 30pm

Pay : $21.00 / hr. - $24.84 / hr.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $1,500 !

Responsibilities

Provides individual and group vocational counseling services to include :

• Assessment of vocational and educational assessments.
• Facilitates referrals for additional vocational assessments.
• Treatment planning.
• Expressive and experiential therapy modalities.
• Didactic Lectures.
• Provides job preparation and ongoing job development training.
• Discharge planning.
• Record-keeping.
• Works with community organizations and agencies to enhance Vocational and Living Skills programming.
• Performs Quality Assurance activities to include :

Provides services according to agency policies and procedures and governmental regulations.
