Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day | 5x8s | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Seeking an experienced Travel X-Ray Technician to support diagnostic imaging services across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role includes performing routine, trauma, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging for a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments including the Emergency Department, ICU, and Operating Room.
Requirements- Minimum 1 year X-Ray Tech experience
- ARRT (R), California CRT, and BLS required
- Travel experience required
- Teaching, community, or trauma hospital experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and infection prevention
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders
- Conduct portable and bedside imaging
- Assist with trauma and emergency imaging
- Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
- Maintain radiation safety and isolation precautions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremity imaging
- Trauma imaging including portable chest and abdomen
- Fluoroscopy procedures (Upper GI, barium studies, arthrography, myelography)
- Mobile imaging using C-Arm and O-Arm systems
