Plant Engineer
Location : Blair, Nebraska (Plant-Based)
Reports to : Director of Plant Operations
We’re looking for an Engineer who wants to learn, grow, and build real-world experience in a hands-on manufacturing setting.
If you’re energized by troubleshooting, data analysis, and understanding how polymer processes work on the plant floor, this role provides an excellent opportunity to launch your engineering career. This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk position — it’s a role where you’ll be actively involved in daily operations.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day polymer plant operations — troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and recommending practical solutions.
- Work directly with operators and process equipment, learning how the plant runs and helping drive stable, reliable performance.
- Analyze operating and historical data to improve yield, quality, and cost, and assist in implementing plant trials to validate improvements.
- Provide technical support to the operations team, strengthening operating discipline as your own expertise grows.
- Partner across functions — maintenance, EH&S, logistics, and technology — to keep operations safe, efficient, and aligned.
- Participate in on-call coverage during critical manufacturing periods to support safe and reliable operations.
What You Bring
