About the Role :

We are looking for Part-Time Drivers to transport passengers in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and time management skills, which helps them be efficient with their work. Essentially, providing a clean, enjoyable ride and safe driving practices while maintaining a positive and pleasant attitude. Pay is $18 / hour plus tips and incentives.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements :

25 years or older

Valid drivers license

A successful background check and motor vehicle license record check

A successful drug screen, including marijuana

You are not required to provide or use your own vehicle or car insurance to be employed at 8Fleet. We will provide a fully insured vehicle for use during your shift.

Responsibilities :

Pick up passengers at their designated locations and safely transport them to their destination, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and practice safe driving habits

Provide a positive and professional experience for passengers including greeting them, assisting with luggage, and addressing any passenger inquiries and requests

Ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all riders

Utilize GPS and routing apps to learn and determine efficient travel routes

Functionality is a must!

Requirements and skills :

A valid California driver’s license

A clean driving record

Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods

Availability to take weekend and night shifts as required

A polite and professional disposition

Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (ex : at rush hour)

Compensation :

$18 hr. plus tips & incentives (when applicable)

Participation in bonus programs that the company offers from time to time.

Important Information Regarding Employment Requirements :

As part of our hiring process, we want to inform you about important employment requirements that are necessary to move forward.

Employees must be 25 and over to drive our vehicles.

Background Check : All candidates who are selected for further consideration will be required to undergo a comprehensive background check. This process will include a review of your criminal history, employment history, and other relevant information to ensure that you meet the standards required for working at 8Fleet.

Drug Screening : In addition to the background check, all candidates will be required to complete a comprehensive drug screening, including marijuana. This screening is a part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. This testing is in compliance with  California State licensing requirements.
