Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Tillery, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or incidents within the location.
  • Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency responders when necessary.
  • Follow all instructions and protocols specific to armed patrol assignments.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • An armed guard card or armed guard license is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and / or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
