BLS, NRP, Stable, Awhonn Intermediate fetal monitoring

Must have :

Labor and Delivery experience, Intermediate fetal monitoring

Triage experience

Advanced skills needed :

Couplet care, circulating in OR

Procedures performed on unit :

Vaginal deliveries, versions, C / S, epidurals, postpartum tubals, cerclage removal, circumcisions

Patient Ratios :

1 : 3-4 couplets, 1 : 1 for all active labors, VBACs, Laboring Magnesium sulfate, Laboring  Insulin. 1 : 1-2 for triage, early labor / cervical ripening.

Type of equipment : GE fetal monitors, novii’s,

Documentation system : CPN and Meditech

Scheduling requirements : Utilize Timpani scheduling. Preferences highly considered.
