We're looking for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician or Certified Behavior Technician to join a school district near Everett, Washington, for the 2024–2025 school year.
This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
RBT Responsibilities :
The RBT will work closely with BCBAs to implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans. Primary duties include :
- Direct Instruction : Teaching students specific behavioral and social skills outlined in treatment plans.
- Behavior Shaping : Using techniques like shaping (approximating desired behaviors) and task analysis (teaching discrete steps) to guide students.
- Reinforcement : Providing meaningful rewards when students exhibit desired behaviors.
- Coaching : Offering in-the-moment coaching to promote desired behaviors throughout the school day.
- Collaboration : Assisting BCBAs with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plan implementation.
- Communication : Clearly communicating behavioral intervention results and progress to parents and caregivers.
Key Requirements :
RBT Certification in good standing.1–2 years of minimum school-based experience preferred.Reliable transportation.Out-of-state RBTs are welcome to apply!
