Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. As an RN Sexual Assault Examiner, in this role you will perform forensic examinations for the collection and preservation of evidence for sexual assault cases. Additionally, you will provide follow up care and are available to participate in the judicial process and provide expert testimony and witnessing.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• BSN Preferred; Associates degree in Nursing (nursing diploma or by endorsement) required
• 2 years' experience in acute care setting or outpatient womens health
• Advanced assessment skills
• Current CO RN license in state of employment or RN license from a particpating state in the National Licensure Compact, required
• Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
• Completion of 64 hours of online SANE training required. Please make sure your resume shows your completion date.

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

*PRN requirement is 60 hours in a 6 week schedule. Need to be available days, evenings and nights. Our schedule is four weeks at a time with a call time turnaround of an hour.*
