Are you a dedicated and compassionate Dentist looking to make a difference in your community?

Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking an experienced Dentist to lead our dental team and provide high-quality, patient-centered oral healthcare. This is an opportunity to supervise staff, implement best practices, and shape the future of dental care at ARMS while working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Impactful Work : Provide essential preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care to underserved populations.

  • Oversee the dental team, clinic operations, and policies to ensure top-tier patient care.
  • Collaborative Environment : Work alongside medical professionals, hygienists, and support staff to improve overall patient health.
  • Professional Growth : Engage in grant applications, recruitment efforts, and program development to expand our dental services.

Perform preventive treatments, including fluoride applications, sealants, and patient education.

  • Restore damaged teeth with fillings, crowns, and dentures and perform basic oral surgery as needed.
  • Oversee dental staff, budget planning, and department policies to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, public health guidelines, and professional standards.
  • Actively participate in recruitment, training, and leadership meetings to drive continuous improvement.

    • Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine (DDS or DMD).

  • Active Alabama Dental License, Controlled Substance Licensure, and DEA Licensure.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience as a dentist.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a dental clinic setting.
  • Experience working with both pediatric and adult patients.
  • Proficiency in basic oral surgery, endodontics, and digital dental records (Dentrix preferred).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) fluency is a plus!

    • Strong manual dexterity and precision for dental procedures.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinic.
  • A passion for public health and serving diverse communities.
