You're looking to join an early-stage team to build something BIG, something industry changing, and you're willing to work hard to do it. You want to be one of the people who actually help companies get real value from AI. You love complex problems, nuanced spaces, and spending time learning from experts (users, customer buyers / executives, industry partners). You take pride in the dirty work, the nitty gritty, because you know that is what's required for the craftsmanship that differentiates truly great products and companies from merely good ones. Teammates and customers have described you as "curious" and "humble". In a space as complex and old as mortgage, our customers are the experts. You understand and respect that, but can combine their domain expertise and knowledge with a firm understanding of technology and user experience to help the team ship robust, elegant solutions to customer problems. You can distill and synthesize complex learnings into crisp, precise insights. You know that all the curiosity and learnings in the world won't help build a world class product if you don't effectively communicate to the rest of the team. You're a company builder and team player. As one of the first members of the product team you're excited to help shape and grow the product itself, but also the culture of the team and the company. Bonus points if you have previously worked within the finance industry and / or on enterprise products.

As one of the early product managers at Vesta, you'll work closely with the engineering, product, and design teams, as well as the founders, to :

• Become an industry expert, providing the mortgage and business context necessary to the team to build a product that solves the most important customer problems Work closely with Vesta's existing and prospective customers to deeply understand their needs and problems
• Help shape the evolution of the Vesta product, working with, and facilitating collaboration between, cross-functional stakeholders
• Help shape the product team and its culture, and Vesta's as well

Note : We don't expect you to have a deep understanding of the nuances of the mortgage process or industry initially. However, success in this role will require a high degree of curiosity, persistence, and willingness to learn the mortgage ecosystem.

Perks & Benefits :

$150,000 - $220,000 a year

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $150,000 - $220,000 / yr. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
