Infant Teacher

Salary: $15-17 / hour

We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have more than two years of experience working with infants in a licensed infant center or nursery, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of babies ages 6 weeks to 12 months. This individual should be warm, attentive, and passionate about creating a safe and loving environment that supports early development and bonding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor development, and early communication.
• Establish consistent routines that support sleep, feeding, and play schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment in accordance with licensing standards and health regulations.
• Monitor and document developmental milestones and share updates with parents through daily communication.
• Build trusting, supportive relationships with families and collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow all center policies, safety protocols, and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with infants in a licensed child care center, nursery, or similar setting.
• Associates in Early Childhood Education, CDA Infants, or a related field experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infant development, safe sleep practices, and responsive caregiving techniques.
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys caring for babies in a structured setting.

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.

Work Hours:

• Monday Friday
  • 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • 9:00 am -6:00 pm Closing
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours for special events, staff meeting or trainings.
