Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving position involves conducting routine patrols and interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $28.00 / Hour

Mon 08 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual or suspicious activity, maintaining a visible presence.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or customers, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
  • Support access control measures by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
