As a School Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide essential support to students in need, working closely with school staff and families to ensure the well-being and success of each individual. Daily Responsibilities : Provide individual and group counseling to students Address Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) goals Collaborate with teachers and parents to create interventions and support plans Connect students and families with community resources Participate in crisis intervention and management as needed Conduct Threat Assesments Create treatment plans Provide QMHP Supervision as needed Required Skills : Master's degree in School Counseling or related field Experience in Special Education and working with diverse student populations Knowledge of treatment plans and educational advising Strong understanding of mental health and psychology principles Ability to serve as a liaison between school, families, and external agencies Nice to Have Skills : Experience in group counseling and facilitating support groups Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques Previous work in curriculum development and educational programming Art Therapy Salary and Benefits : Minimum Salary : $54,000.00 Maximum Salary : $63,000.00 Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance 401(k) with employer match Tuition Reimbursement and Paid Time Off At Educational Development Center, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work.
