Wimmer Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Governance Analyst to support the development and management of our enterprise data governance framework. This role will focus on defining and organizing data domains, building and maintaining a centralized data dictionary, and collaborating across business units to ensure consistent data definitions and usage.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Domain Structure Development Define and maintain enterprise-wide data domain taxonomy. Collaborate with data stewards and business units to align domain definitions with business processes. Support metadata tagging and classification within each domain.
• Data Dictionary Management Design and implement a centralized data dictionary using governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation). Ensure consistent definitions, formats, and business rules across systems. Partner with data owners to validate and update dictionary entries.
• Governance Operations Assist in the development of governance policies and standards. Support data quality initiatives by identifying gaps and inconsistencies. Participate in governance councils and working groups.
• Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements. Provide training and documentation to promote adoption of governance tools and practices. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
