Summary

Performs patient / specimen identification, collects blood and non-blood and performs specialized procedures specific to the age of the patient; performs computer functions to support laboratory, Hospital, reference lab and registration systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Recent completion of at least one of the following :
  • Approved phlebotomy training or related program
  • 3 months of clinical phlebotomy education experience
  • 3 months related work experience
  • Valid driver's license and current motor vehicle insurance.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Phlebotomy registry.
