Job Description: HCA Caregiver – Golden Years In-Home Senior Care

Position: HCA Caregiver
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care, based in Sacramento, is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking dedicated and caring HCA (Home Care Aide) caregivers to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to senior clients, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and document client’s progress, any changes in condition, and report to supervisors as necessary.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and mobility aids as needed.
• Offer companionship and ensure a positive, safe, and caring environment for each client.

Qualifications:

• Must be a current Home Care Aide (HCA) registered with the California Department of Social Services.
• Valid TB test (within the last 24 months).
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, family members, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Ability to lift and assist with transfers, if required.
