This role requires a mix of desk and hands-on work, including sitting, standing, walking, and using tools or equipment. You may need to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Visual acuity for close, distance, and color vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustments, is needed. You’ll work in a dynamic mix of office, lab / shop, and manufacturing environments. Expect exposure to dust, oil, mechanical systems, and safety requirements such as protective gear. Responsibilities
- Develop, assess, and enhance manufacturing processes to ensure robust, repeatable, and efficient production of products that meet all specifications.
- Optimize workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow by designing layouts that maximize safety and productivity.
- Source and procure equipment for product assembly, ensuring alignment with our sustainability and operational goals.
- Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs to guide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and cross-functional teams to support production schedules and improve manufacturing capabilities.
