Credentialing Specialist

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist responsible for facilitating the centralized verification office program and serving as the primary credentialing liaison.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate all aspects of the Primary Source Verification program, ensuring accuracy in verification of applicants' education, training, and experience

Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Maintain provider records, ensuring all documentation is current and ready for review by medical staff committees

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge of medical terminology required

Working knowledge of TJC and NCQA standards, along with state and federal guidelines

Minimum one year of experience in administrative work, preferably in healthcare or a related field

Intermediate level experience with Word, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote; comfortable with database programs
