Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and oversee a team of three accounting professionals. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, deadline-driven leader who enjoys building efficient processes and mentoring team members. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvements across a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, supervising a team of three staff accountants.
• Oversee and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Analyze and explain monthly and quarterly financial results to management.
• Partner with operations and real estate teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage cash flow reporting, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as assigned.
