We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Governance, Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Intern to join our team this Summer. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in auditing processes and legal compliance within a dynamic business environment. You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, assist in reviewing policies and procedures, and contribute to ensuring regulatory adherence and risk management. This role will help develop analytical and critical thinking skills while supporting initiatives that uphold organizational integrity and compliance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Summer Intern, Governance, Legal, Compliance & Regulatory :
- Support the Governance, Legal, Compliance & Regulatory team in reviewing, analyzing, and documenting compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in conducting internal audits of business processes, contracts, and documentation to identify risks and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Help prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams to gather information and resolve audit findings.
- Learn and apply methodologies, legal research tools, and compliance management systems in a professional setting.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation for legal purposes.
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices through self-paced learning and team sessions.
- Support cross-functional efforts to assess enterprise AI readiness by reviewing policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for ethical and compliant AI use.
- Assist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities within legal, audit, and compliance workflows.
Skills and Experience of the Summer Intern, Governance, Legal, Compliance & Regulatory :
Interest in legal, compliance, and audit or a related field.Must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study and be rising senior (senior commencing Fall 2026) with a minimum GPA of 3.3.Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and legal research platforms.Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Above-average organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to multi-task, adapt to ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.Willingness to learn new audit methodologies and legal technologies.Details :
Pay for this position with be $25 / hourThe intern will be located in our New York City office. The intern must live within commutable distance to the office and provide own housing. A housing stipend or relocation assistance will not be offered.The duration of our program is10 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2026Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study and be rising senior (senior commencing Fall 2026) with a minimum GPA of3.3and be eligible to work in the US.
