Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain Test Cases and Scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- Investigate, log, and escalate bugs identified during testing.
- Work with the Product and Development teams to analyze project requirements with the goal of finding gaps early and improving Acceptance Criteria.
- Validate product against Requirements, Design and Code.
- Collaborate with other Software Quality Assurance Engineers on the continual improvement of test methods, strategies and test coverage
- Act as an advocate for delivering quality products, train, support and coach other team members.
- Coordinate and participate in sprint work and regression testing efforts before and during the releases.
- Gain a deep understanding of the CoStar business, including the Analytic products and how they integrate with our specific product area.
- Assess, recommend and implement tools to enhance testing.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college / universityA track record of commitment to prior employers5+ years of industry experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.3+ years of experience in automation with the desire and ability to write and run automated tests in a continuous integration environment.Experience with API testing using Swagger or Postman.Experience with Selenium.Experience with Functional, Automation, Regression, E2E, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, Browser, Exploratory and User Experience testing.Experience with Object-oriented design and coding skills (preferably C#).Experiencing in debugging code.Experience and knowledge of Agile, scrum ceremonies, QA testing methodologies and the SDLC.Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).Experience testing web-based enterprise systems and SAAS.Experience writing detailed bug reports, tailing logs and conducting a root cause analysis.Fluent in SQL and relational databases, including experience testing relational database-backed applications.History of partnering and collaborating with software development teams.Experience with QA automated testing frameworks.Experience with Mobile Web and Accessibility testing .What’s in it for You
