Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Candidates may be asked to float to an acuity adaptable location. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Ability to float to a lockdown unit may be necessary.
