Job Description
IMCU/Step Down RN - 1st Timers

Location

This position is located in a Level II Trauma Center.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00). Weekends required; 6 shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IMCU/Step Down RN to join our team. This position may require floating between units and includes responsibilities for patient care and management in a progressive care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4.
• Utilize advanced telemetry and nursing skills in patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care or Intermediate/Stepdown setting.
• Certifications: CPI, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Valid state RN license in hand at submission.
• Preferred experience with charting systems such as Epic.
