Building Blocks Pediatric Therapy is looking to expand our growing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team by hiring additional caring and dependable behavior technicians for our Sterling Heights clinic! We are currently hiring part-time or full-time positions. Our team is very collaborative and creative, and we are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children with special needs, primarily children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder!

Job Duties :

• Provide 1 : 1 direct treatment to children with special needs under instruction and direction from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Implement ABA treatment protocols including programs, behavior intervention plans, and procedures with clients in their natural environment as outlined by a supervisor.
• Completing the necessary documentation per client session including but not limited to collecting data, end of day session notes, billing procedures, etc.
• Undergo training to gain skills with de-escalation techniques for maladaptive behaviors, data implementation, and collaboration with service providers (speech therapy and occupational therapy).
• Comply with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
• Please note! As a behavior technician, you are required to work with a range of children who might display challenging behaviors.
