Program Manager (Financials)
The Program Manager (Financials) leads financial planning, analysis, and operational oversight for key programs and projects. This role combines program management expertise with deep financial acumen, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and client satisfaction. The manager partners with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, optimize processes, and support organizational growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage financial planning and analysis for programs and projects.
- Oversee project finances, including invoicing, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost estimation.
- Develop and maintain financial models and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, and finance teams to improve accuracy and timeliness of financial data and customer invoices.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and cost drivers.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and issues impacting program success.
- Foster a collaborative, productive work environment and drive process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and support revenue and EBITDA goals.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).5+ years of experience in financial analysis, program management, or related roles.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and SAP accounting software preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure.General knowledge of accounting systems and principles.Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CCSPM) are a plus.Strong business intelligence skills (Power BI or equivalent).ERP experience with Oracle, SAP, Workday, Sage, or NetSuite.The Compensation range for this role is $115,000 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
