Methuen Adoption Center Temporary Equine and Farm Animal Welfare Specialist

This is a Temporary 40 hour a week position with required weekend days. Anticipated length of assignment is 3-5 months.

MSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center in Methuen has a temporary need for an Animal Welfare Specialist with specialized equine and farm animal experience.

The vision of the MSPCA Animal Protection Division is to proactively address the underlying issues that put animals at risk. We value our connections to communities and organizations and serve as a resource to protect the largest number of animals possible.

Animal Welfare Specialists (AWS) are at the forefront of this mission working directly with people and their pets to effect positive change in our community. Job responsibilities include :

We are looking for applicants who demonstrate excellent judgment and interpersonal skills and are eager to work to support the human-animal bond. Applicants should have equine and farm animal experience as well as work experience in a customer service or client care role.
