SQL Developer

Job Description

This role focuses on developing and ensuring the accuracy, performance, and reliability of keyword search functionality utilizing SQL queries and within the Gridspace (GS) platform.
The candidate will possess a strong understanding of logic as it pertains to query building and relational database principles. The candidate will also have some previous experience working in the property and casualty insurance space.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in quality management/assurance in the property and casualty insurance space and a demonstrated capability of applying quality standards to real-world scenarios. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience applying key-word searches to large volumes of text to extract insights.

Required Skills & Experience

-Experience / familiarity with P&C / insurance terms, processes, regs, etc.
- Strong SQL background, specifically with advanced keyword queries used to automate quality checks, extract insights from large volumes of text
- Proven Experience on the below –
o Craft test cases to verify the correctness of SQL queries used for data retrieval, transformation, and reporting.
o Analyze testing data to identify areas for refinement.
o Document results consistently and maintain a working history of previously obtained data.
