Conversion Crew Member

Legends|ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent opportunity for a Conversion Crew Member at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. This position is responsible for setting up and clearing event spaces, including halls, arenas, theaters, and meeting rooms, ensuring all equipment is arranged properly and in working order. Please note that Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and union membership is a condition of employment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Move tables, chairs, risers, bleachers, booths, staging, ramps, and other furniture between event spaces and storage areas as directed.
• Assist with setting up event equipment according to established procedures.
• Report any property damage, malfunctioning equipment, or safety hazards to the Conversion Manager or supervisor.
• Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner during event preparations or shift assignments.
• Notify supervisor of any issues with equipment, supplies, or staffing needs.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with guests, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhere to the facility's dress code and grooming standards.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with all ASM Global and Event Services Department policies and procedures.
