QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Must be licensed to practice in the field of Speech Language Pathology, if licensure is required by the state in which employment is held.
2. Basic knowledge in rehabilitation, as well as training and experience in audiology screening.
3. Ability to identify and diagnose communication disorders based on a variety of medical diagnoses. Must be able to determine treatment, with goals and objectives of therapy, and arrange home programs as necessary.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Established time frames for delivery of documentation is met 95% of the time.
2. All documentation meets requirements for quality assurance standards and certification standards.
3. Quality of patient care is maintained at a consistently high level, including thoroughness, accuracy, safety, and conformance to standards.
4. Policies and procedures relating to customer service, as outlined by company, are adhered to 100% of the time.
5. No deficiencies are identified, on more than one occasion, during certification surveys.
6. Every entry in a medical chart passes chart audits 95% of the time.
