Description : Job Overview :

We are seeking a talented and innovative Design Engineer 2 to join our dynamic team, specializing in electric and lit mirror products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mirrors with integrated LED, audio, and visual solutions. Your work will directly impact product performance, aesthetics, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven work history in the lighting industry / commercial electronics, a strong engineering background, creativity in design, problem-solving, and a passion for delivering high-quality, functional products.

The candidate will also have Project Management skills to handle multiple projects at once, working cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and customers, and will be able to work unsupervised, taking concept drawings and renderings through engineering and directing fabrication and manufacturing teams to achieve their design intent.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Development :

• Design and develop electric mirrors and lit mirror products from concept through to production, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
• Create detailed technical and Sales drawings, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Integrate lighting systems and electrical components, ensuring compliance with UL safety standards and building / electrical code regulations.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks sheet metal tools.
