Dallas Animal Urgent Care is currently looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant to our amazing team!

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital
• Wrapping and sterilizing surgical equipment and instruments
• Assisting the veterinary technician to complete treatments as needed
• Canine and feline restraint
• Performing in-house diagnostics
• Preparing medications
• Some clerical work may be required.

Requirements :

A successful, long term candidate will need to :

Have 1+years of veterinary experience.

Be able to handle the pace and unpredictability of an Urgent Care practice

Be a champion multitasker

Have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Spanish-speaking preferred but not required

Education :

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience :

Veterinary Technicians : 1 year (Required)

Veterinary experience : 1 year (Required)
