Manicurist- Part Time, Salon / Spa (Harrah's SoCal)

This position is responsible for providing manicures, repairs, polish changes and pedicures in a professional and courteous manner while complying with all standard operating procedures.

Our ideal candidate :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completed and passed State Board of Cosmetology.

Must hold a manicure or cosmetology license.

Two years experience in a hotel or resort salon preferred.

Fast paced environment.Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills.

Must be able to work in a close-knit environment with constant co-worker involvement.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

About the role :

Provide efficient and courteous Family-Style Service to all guests.

Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to work well with others and as a team.

The ability to complete all nail services offered.

Knowledge of all nail products sold and the ability to promote and sell them.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Spa leadership team.

Participate and attend all education classes and staff meetings.

A few more things :

Able to lift items up to 20 lbs.

Able to bend over while giving pedicure services for an extended period (10 hours).

Must be able to assist guests into pedicure chairs.

Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.

Pay : $15.50 per hour plus commission
