Server Assistant and Host

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized Server Assistant and Host to join our team. This dual role involves ensuring Members have a smooth dining experience by assisting servers with table maintenance and warmly welcoming guests at the door. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, works well under pressure, and is a team player.

Responsibilities:

Server Assistant Duties:

• Assist servers by providing support with table setup, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Refill drinks, bread, and other table items as needed.
• Ensure that tables are prepped for the next Members by cleaning and resetting promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service areas, including stations and dining areas.
• Support the overall efficiency of the dining room by keeping it well organized and stocked.

Host Duties:

• Greet Members warmly and with a positive attitude as they arrive.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient flow in the dining room.
• Escort Members to their tables, provide menus, and answer any questions.
• Monitor wait times and keep guests informed regarding table availability.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns to provide an excellent customer experience.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
• Customer service experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A positive attitude and a passion for delivering great service.
