A healthcare network in California is looking to add a new, licensed Pediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEM to their team in Los Angeles. In this role, thePediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEMwill be responsible forevaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric urgent care patients in both in-person and telemedicine settings.

About the Opportunity :

• Setting : Private Practice

Hours : 12pm to 12am or 10am to 10pm (3 to 4 weekends shifts a month)

Responsibilities :

ThePediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEM will :

Perform procedural care, including abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive

Takeradiographs and providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads (only in applicable states)

Oversee in-person and telemedicine patient flow and daily functions of the office along with oversight of other providers, staff, and trainees on shift

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

Board Eligible / Certified in Pediatrics

Emergency Department and / or Urgent Care background
