A company is looking for a Pre Service Center (PSC) Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and verify patient registration information, including demographics and insurance details
Coordinate and obtain necessary prior authorizations and referrals for patient appointments
Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve financial clearance issues and ensure compliance with insurance requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
1-3 years of hospital registration and / or insurance experience desirable, with at least one year in a customer service role
General knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance processes preferred
Experience with Epic or similar healthcare management systems is preferred
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Suite applications
