Selby Jennings is partnered with a recently formed, technology driven asset manager looking to add their first full time hire specialized in Salesforce Development. In this role, you will be a foundational member of the core engineering team tasked with developing various Salesforce focused applications and solutions for the firm's front office teams. This is a cross-functional role that requires a commercial minded engineer with strong software development experience in Apex, and ideally Python.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line of contact as a subject matter expert for the Salesforce Platform
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and introduce innovative recommendations, factoring in user needs, external approaches, data analytics, as well as industry best practices.
• Lead the end-to-end life cycle for development, architectural and implementation needs across the organization
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to solutions developed.
• Support end users daily including managing issue resolution and performing root cause analysis to further strengthen the platforms integrity
• Perform various types of testing across applications, including the development of custom testing suites
• Assist in coordination of production releases, working towards an Agile delivery methodology
