Job Title : Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location : Ashburn VA

Contract Duration : 29 Weeks

Schedule : 9 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM (MondayFriday)

Hours : 7.5 hours / day 37.5 hours / week

Pay : Up to $28 / hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Behavior Technician for an exciting job in Ashburn VA.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1 : 1 and 2 : 1 behavioral support to students.

Implement ABA-based treatment and behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.

Accurately record session data behavioral notes and student progress.

Assist with classroom instruction transitions and daily routines.

Support skill acquisition programs and behavior-reduction strategies.

Maintain safety guidelines and follow district protocols.

Collaborate with teachers support staff and BCBA on student needs.

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification from BACB (mandatory)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Current CPR & First Aid Certification

Crisis intervention training such as CPI Mandt or Handle With Care (preferred)

Experience working with children or individuals with autism special needs or behavioral challenges (preferred)

Preferred Skills

Experience in ABA within a school setting

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively

Knowledge of behavior management and data-collection techniques

Consistency in following treatment protocols
