Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic tests, and crafting individualized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently, as per your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and health management
• Prescribing treatments and medications in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management initiatives
• Working synergistically with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oregon
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or available to obtain within 90 days)
